The idea of shaking trees until stray animals fall out and then selling them to people who don't even know how to feed an animal is truly bizarre.

My Pet Shop is a good one for the kids, especially girls. It's got a clean and cute art style (directly inspired by Cooking Mama), a large variety of tasks to accomplish, and simple mechanics and controls.
People will come by your shop and give you tasks like finding a certain animal for them or teaching their pet a trick. You can accept several tasks at a time and your mom will pay you each day for the tasks you've completed. Satisfying these jobs is done the same way it is in every casual title: mini-games! Use the stylus as a brush on a dog's coat. Toss a treat at just the right moment to feed a cat. Tap on the touch screen where you want an animal to go while out for a walk. There is a lot of repetition of these mini-games, but kids don't seem to mind that as much as older gamers.
