Despite the small problems, building a thriving city in Caesar III is fun.
For those of you who never played the original Caesar or even better Caesar II, you should know that this is a game design. If you need a comparison, it most likely SimCity - some fans even SimRome. In Caesar III, take you on the job of a governor in the Roman Empire and attempts to push the boundaries of Roman civilization and raising a great city of pagan dust. They build roads, clear forests, and plunk down virtually every kind of building structure that was common in cities 2,000 years ago, all while making the occasional barbarian horde and defense to try to make a profit from the venture.
