Many people wondering a correct release date of Dead Island, now we get the newest info that the game plans to out on August 2011.
Though we can't confirm it's specific to which day, but if we sure the release date, you will get it at first time.

Nearly, on IGN we can look at a release date of the
first-person action game Dead Island. But only confirms the month which at August. Is this the real date in
Techland's schedule? If it is we can now add this to our calenders. With the trailer released no long age, which looks awesome by the way, we can expect Techland to make an
official announcement soon enough but for now we can only hope that what we have spotted is true.
On top of all of that though, they have announced through a Facebook status update that this game will release in 2011. No specific date, but it will be this year. This is from
Dead Island official blog, "Many of you have asked us about an exact release date. Dead Island will defintly be out in 2011, but right now we can't confirm a specific date. But as soon as we are sure about our release date, we'll let you know!"
It's amazing that has literally been no news on the title, no real videos, gameplay, or screenshots other than what came out around the trailer.
This company may be taking a page of the Bungie playbook by revealing almost nothing up until the release of their games forcing fans to speculate and create more hype. All we can say for sure is that whatever it is, it's on the working way. They are also very active on their page so it can't hurt to become a fan either.
