Madness for Gran Turismo 5, Polyphony Digital will plot to launches a post-release update for the racing simulator on the date which after developed six year and released only two weeks.
Accroding to
Gran Turismo 5 Creator-Kazunori Yamauchihas' Twitter, the boss of Sony Computer Entertainment shock people with his idea, Yamauchihas mentioned that
an new update which add more features is being made available for Gran Turismo 5 on the PlayStation 3, coming early in
December of this year.
Andriasang has translated a select group of these tweets, some of which are responses to players who are requesting for more features to be put into the game.
For example, a user (or users) want YouTube video uploading functionality. Oddly, this was actually in the game at one point, "but it required a lot of time for rendering" because of memory restrictions, so it was cut. Yamauchi says the studio is, however, looking into dropping it back in at some point.
Gran Turismo 5 Updates
Yamauchi also said that it's possible a "no HUD" option might be added down the road, as well as new Lounge functionality and a credits and experience system for online play. We apparently won't see the latter feature (which happens to be the most exciting of what has been translated) for a while.
Last weekend, the first patch for Gran Turismo 5 (Fix
Gran Turismo 5 Font Issue) has already to players. It is expected that this one will be made available in the next week or so. We'll let you know when it arrives.
