Dance Central 2, which is easily the best "hardcore" game in the launch line-up for Kinect by most estimations is coming. The Dance Central 2 release date is on November 4, 2010 alongside the Kinect.
Now even though Kinect hasn't been released yet, this isn't exactly super surprising news due to how favorably the game has been received by critics and it's long been acknowledged that Harmonix (the company that made the original Guitar Hero and later Rock Band) has a winner with
Dance Central 2; which is easily the best "hardcore" game in the launch line-up for Kinect by most estimations.
Here is the quote that the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based developer Harmonix is already starting on part 2.
"I think that Dance Central has an opportunity to spark a phenomenon, much like the original Guitar Hero did," Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos told MCV. "I sure as hell hope there will be a sequel. We certainly have a lot of creative ambitions for the future of
Dance Central 2."

Dance Central 2 Coming Out to Kinect
Continuing with talk of a sequel, Kasson Crooker, project director for the first Dance Central, offered this hint.
"We're looking at basic pre-production for
Dance Central 2 but are mostly working on DLC right now," he explained. "We want to make sure people like Dance Central first," Crooker added. "If that happens, we can look at what they enjoyed about that experience and decide if we want to offer an addition to it."
The
Dance Central 2 release date is on November 4, 2010 alongside the Kinect.
